US-based machinery group Terex Australia has signed a design and construct deal with Perth Airport to establish its new WA headquarters on a four hectare site at the airport's Kewlink intermodal business park.
Under the contract, Perth Airport will build a 7,745 square metre workshop, two-level office building and warehouse for Terex.
The deal will allow Terex, which supplies excavators and diggers to the mining industry, to consolidate its operations on one site.
Welshpool-based builder McLeish & Matthews has been awarded the building contract, with design to be undertaken by architects Sandover Pinder.
The project is due for completion in June next year.
Terex will join existing tenants Woolworths, Coles Group, Cummins, Western Power, Atlas Copco, SGS, Schlumberger, Aker Solutions and Toshiba International at the 246-hectare business park.
