West Perth-based developer of internet monitoring and management software WebSpy Ltd is set to expand its client-base after signing an agreement with the Middle East region's leading IT security solutions provider ComGuard.
West Perth-based developer of internet monitoring and management software WebSpy Ltd is set to expand its client-base after signing an agreement with the Middle East region's leading IT security solutions provider ComGuard.
The agreement will see ComGuard together with its business partners providing added value distribution of the WebSpy product solutions.
The WebSpy products to be distributed under this agreement include the latest WebSpy Vantage product that allows analysis against any type of security device.
WebSpy chief operating officer Lagis Zavros said ComGuard had a wide distribution channel for the Middle East region.
"The skills and enthusiasm of the staff of our partner will allow us to further penetrate the market, greatly enhancing the sales and support we provide to our clients," he said.
The news follows WebSpy signing up with Global Marketing Partners last year to distribute its products in North America through the world's largest technology distributor, Ingram Micro Inc.
In 2006, WebSpy also appointed French-based IT sales and distribution organisation, Athena Global Services, as its master distributor for France.
The company launched its new product, WebSpy Insight for Microsoft SBS Premium, at SMB Nation 2006 held in Washington.
In May 2004 WebSpy was ranked 18th in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 awards, having achieved 189 per cent revenue growth over the previous three years. In October 2003, WebSpy gained 35th position in the BRW FAST 100 list.
The company provides management monitoring and reporting tools to enable clients to make informed decisions relating to the use of their internet and email systems.
WebSpy also operates offices in the USA and UK. It currently has a market capitalization of $2.4 million.
