Woodside Petroleum has promoted four executives in its leadership team, with Meg O'Neill to be executive vice-president of the merged marketing and developments divisions.
Previously, Ms O’Neill has held the positions of executive vice-president development and chief operations officer at Woodside, after joining the company from ExxonMobil in 2018.
The former executive vice-president marketing, trading and shipping, Reinhardt Matisons, is retiring at the beginning of August.
Senior vice-president corporate & legal Michael Abbott is also departing in August, and will be succeeded by Daniel Kalms.
Mr Kalms has been with Woodside since 2001, and has been leading the Scarborough development for the past two years.
Fiona Hick has been confirmed as senior vice-president operations, after acting in the role for the past nine months.
Tom Ridsdill-Smith has been appointed to the new role of senior vice-president climate.
Dr Ridsdill-Smith has worked for Woodside for the past two decades, and previously held the positions of vice-president geoscience and vice-president chief digital officer.
Woodside chief executive Peter Coleman congratulated the appointees on their new positions and thanked Mr Matisons and Mr Abbott for their significant contributions.
“These changes allow us to refresh our executive leadership team and restructure our organisation in anticipation of the activity ahead,” Mr Coleman said.
