Mr Jerrard, whose appointment is effective from July 1, has expertise in audit and due diligence for the oil and gas; retail and telecommunications sectors.
His elevation to partner is one of 30 new partners admitted by the company nationally this year, and brings the total number of partners at Deloitte in Australia to 303.
Deloitte CEO Giam Swiegers said that strong growth this year as well as strong anticipated growth for 2007 in a number of key business areas such as audit and risk, has allowed it to admit to partnership 30 high performing professionals.
The new partners specialise predominantly in corporate finance (three), risk management (six), tax (five), forensic (one), audit (four), consulting (seven), corporate re-organisation (one) and Deloitte's middle market practice Growth Solutions (two).
As well, there was one appointment to the Practice Protection team.
Geographically, the newly admitted partners are located in the following offices:

Deloitte, one of Australia's largest professional services firms, has appointed Ross Jerrard as a Partner to the Assurance and Advisory practice in Perth.
Since January 2006, Deloitte has admitted 30 new partners nationally bringing the total to 303 partners.
His areas of expertise include audit and due diligence for the oil and gas; retail and telecommunications industry.
Mr Jerrard's appointment will be effective from July 1, 2006. He has been working for Deloitte since 1st December 2003.
Mr Jerrard's appointment follows the recruiting of two new partners, Ian Crisp and Fiona Cahill, to Deloitte's Perth Tax Practice in April 2006.

The new partners have extensive expertise in many industry and market groups including Financial Services, Government Services, Telcos, Energy & Resources, Consumer, Mining, IFRS and Middle market.
