Local tech company DTI Group has announced a host of board changes, while Pancontinental Oil & Gas chief executive is set to resign due to personal reasons.
Local tech company DTI Group has announced a host of board changes, while Pancontinental Oil & Gas chief executive is set to resign due to personal reasons.
DTI said it has appointed former Telstra executive Greg Purdy, company director Steve Gallagher and Morris Group manager Andrew Lewis as non-executive directors.
All three are based in Melbourne.
DTI executive director Richard Johnson has stepped down from the board, but will continue to serve in an executive capacity for the company’s commercial operations.
Glyn Denison has indicated his intention to retire from the board following DTI’s annual general meeting in November.
Neil Goodey will step down as chair of DTI after the AGM, with Mr Purdy to replace him in that role.
Mr Goody welcomed the new appointees to the board.
“DTI is pleased to able to announce the appointment of experienced and well credentialed board members who can bring additional experience and expertise to the company,” he said.
“The new appointees will bring valuable strategic insights to the Board and are well placed to support DTI’s executive team.
“The board looks forward to their contribution to the future growth of the company.”
Meanwhile Pancontinental said Mr Begg will step down as chief executive in mid-November, after 12 months in charge of the company.
Director Ernie Myers will take up the responsibility for overall management, supported by the existing technical and financial team.
“Mr Begg, due to personal reasons, has restrictions on his ability to continue to fulfil his current role,” the company said in a statement to the ASX.
“He will remain a director and will provide specialist consulting services focussing on the company’s projects.”
Chairman David Kennedy said Pancontinental respected Mr Begg’s need to step aside.
“In a restructured role he will be able to provide more focussed assistance to the Pancontinental team,” he said.
“Director Ernie Myers will now head-up company management, Barry Rushworth will continue to progress our African projects and Marie Malaxos will take forward the Walyering conventional gas field project in the Perth Basin, all very ably supported by Vesna Petrovic.”
