RDG wins $9m Wodgina contract

Mining contractor Resource Development Group has been awarded a concrete and civil works contract worth more than $9 million at Mineral Resources’ Wodgina lithium project in the Pilbara.

MinRes is currently building a lithium concentrate plant at the Wodgina site, which is expected to cost about $220 million.

The company is also planning to construct a lithium carbonate plant in the same location that has two 25,000 tonnes per annum processing trains, each costing about $200 million.

In a statement to the ASX, RDG said the contract had a duration of approximately seven months.
