Monadelphous Group has established a new base in the Pilbara, taking a large tract of industrial land at Karratha’s Gap Ridge estate.
LandCorp announced today that Mondadelphous had purchased a 6.9 hectare lot at Gap Ridge, on the back of the engineering group winning a series of major new contracts for LNG and iron ore customers in the Pilbara.
Monadelphous managing director Rob Velletri said the company had outgrown its current Karratha facility, and the Gap Ridge estate was a logical choice.
“Maintaining a local base with major workshop and other facilities is vital to support the long-term relationships we have with our blue chip customers,” Mr Velletri said.
“The new, bigger facility we have planned for Gap Ridge will help us continue to provide a high level of service to resources, energy and infrastructure operations in the state.”
LandCorp business manager – industrial, David Lewis, said around 30 companies had signed up at Gap Ridge, which comprises a total of 260 hectares across 128 lots.
The most recent land release at Gap Ridge will deliver 10 lots fronting Dampier Highway, ranging frm 3,600 square metres to 1.3 hectares.
