THE Goldfields Business Enter-prise Centre has received a $60,000 grant to pay for a survey of the small business sector in Kalgoorlie, Boulder, Coolgardie and Kambalda.
Results from the survey, to be conducted by Curtin Training Solutions and completed by the end of November, should provide guidance on ways for small businesses in the Goldfields to grow and prosper.
Business Enterprise Centre WA chair Esther Roadknight said knowledge from the survey was expected to translate into increased funding opportunities from the Department of Employ-ment and Training.
