WEB design company INature Australia Pty Ltd was pretty chuffed with its win in the 2000 IT&T Awards Games/Arts/Media and Interactive Marketing category.
INature competed against leading WA and national web design companies as well as Murdoch University to win the award.
INature’s entry was for the development of the DVG Automotive Group web site, lauded for its extensive integration of off-line systems and data and its compelling aesthetic.
INature managing director Phillip Hirschberg said the award recognised nine months of consulting and development by both technical and creative staff who worked with virtually all the staff at DVG.
“This commendation adds to previous awards received by INature including Best Travel Industry Web Site for 1999 with travelshop.com.au,” Mr Hirschberg said.
“The DVG web site project is another example of the results achieved by INature’s partnering relationship with Telstra.
“We are the preferred supplier of the latest applications of Internet and database development to Telstra’s customers,” he said.
INature operations director Kelly Townson said the company, formed in 1997, was in the midst of a major growth phase.
“We will expand into interstate and international markets in the next six months, focussing on the eastern States and South East Asia,” Ms Townson said.
“Our head office will remain in Perth. Phillip is my partner and, being Perth kids, we see our future remaining here.”
Ms Townson said INature’s strength lay in purely focussing on web design.
“We don’t do any multimedia work,” she said. “We believe in concentrating on our core duties.”
