Williams wins top home award
Williams Homes has won the Best Country Home of the Year Award in the MBA Geraldton and North West Regional Awards.
It also won the contract homes awards in the $150,000 to $200,000 and $200,000 to $300,000 categories and the display homes award for homes under $200,000.
Dion Brahim was named the best building construction apprentice – trainee of the year.
H & M Tracey Construction & Project Management won the best commercial building award and also picked up the contract homes award in the $300,000 to $400,000 category, the commercial building under $1 million award and the multi residential housing development worth more than $1 million.
The company also won the excellence in building practice award and the excellence in environmental awareness award and two of its subcontractors – Hillam Architects and D&D Concreting won the excellence in drafting and design and the excellence in concrete awards respectively.
Kimberley Green Constructions won the multi residential housing development up to $1 million award. It also won the best steel building award.
JNY Contractors won the display homes award in the $200,000 to $300,000 and more than $400,000 categories. It also won the excellence in security and excellence in safety features awards.
Multi Develop & Construct won the commercial alterations and additions under $1 million category.
The commercial alterations and additions in the $1 million to $3 million award went to Australian Eco Constructions. The company also won the excellence in structural steel award.
GS Weston took the waterwise home award.
The most affordable family housing prize went to Rimini Homes.
The excellence in plumbing award went to Reef Plumbing, while Rumpy’s Brick & Pave won the coveted silver trowel award.
Lugger Cabinets won the excellence in cabinetmaking award. It also won the best appointed kitchen award. Broome Ceramics took the best appointed bathroom prize.
Andrew Kerdell took home the excellence in roof carpentry award and Acacia Ceilings won the excellence in ceilings award.
Steve Lydeamore won the excellence in fitting out carpentry award while Coral Coast Electric won the excellence in electrical layout award.
Dampier Concrete took the excellence in paving award.
The excellence in painting award went to Service Painting, Simpson’s Tiling Karratha picked up the excellence in wall and floor tiling award and P & R Eaton Building Services won the innovative use of building materials prize.
Delmac won the excellence in metal cladding award.
