The Property Council of Australia is holding its first future directions event for the year, focusing on two young Western Australian leaders in two diverse fields, April 19 at the Onyx Bar in West Perth. Brendon Grylls has been leader of the National Party (WA) since June 2005. He was elected to the 36th Parliament for Merredin at the by-election in November 2001 and was re-elected in 2005. After the company he previously worked for was placed in administration, Lloyd Clark launched property development company Match to manage the process of convincing investors to sign over the management rights of the projects to him. He was successful in acquiring two of the three projects under discussion and is still managing director of the company today. These two men will share their experiences as innovative young leaders in politics and property, respectively. Early bird registration for this event costs $55 (before April 10). Standard registration is $77. For more information contact Ashlee Popperwell on 9426 1200 or email apopperwell@wa.propertyoz.com.au.
