Y2K sickies

THE LAST day of this century will be spent on the ‘sickbed’ and not at the grindstone, according to a recent Morgan & Banks survey.

Almost 79 per cent of people surveyed said they believed there would be an increase in sickies.

Morgan & Banks’ Sean Winder said 91.3 per cent of those surveyed in the media industry reported they would have to make emergency plans to cover New Year’s Eve sickies.
