The worker was killed at approximately 10:20am at the company's 54 Banksia Road premises.
Confirming reports in a statement this afternoon, Schramm said it was a devastating day for everyone at Schramm.
"Schramm can confirm the tragic death of one of our employees today, after an incident at our Welshpool workshop this morning at approximately 10:20am," it said.
"Our thoughts are with the deceased’s family, friends and colleagues at this extremely difficult time."
WorkSafe is currently at the scene but is still yet to determine the cause of the incident.
"All relevant authorities, including WorkSafe WA, are on site, and Schramm is assisting fully with all investigations," Schramm said.
The company said it would also be conducting its own investigation to determine the cause of the incident.
"This is a devastating day for everyone at Schramm, and our thoughts are with the deceased’s family, friends and colleagues at this extremely difficult time," the statement read.
"Employee safety and wellbeing is our highest priority, and counselling has been made available for all employees."
Schramm operates globally and is headquartered in Perth and West Chester Pennsylvania.
