Across Western Australia’s regional and remote communities, Aboriginal corporations are leading critical work in healthcare, community development, cultural preservation and economic participation. Two WA based sister businesses, Market Creations Agency and Integrated ICT, have spent more than 25 years working alongside these organisations, supporting their goals through strategic communications, reliable technology and a culturally informed approach to how they work.
Both businesses bring distinct capabilities to these partnerships. Market Creations Agency works with clients on marketing strategy, brand and digital engagement. Integrated ICT provides managed IT and cloud services, Microsoft licensing, cybersecurity and technology infrastructure. Together, they offer Aboriginal corporations a coordinated approach to the communications and systems that underpin day-to-day operations.
Market Creations Agency: amplifying community voices through strategic communications
For Aboriginal corporations, visibility matters. Securing funding, attracting staff and building community trust all depend on how effectively an organisation communicates its work. Market Creations Agency partners with Aboriginal corporations to develop communications strategies that reflect each organisation’s priorities and connect with the audiences they need to reach.
“To work with these organisations in the long term means we can think big and plan strategically” said Jesse Lee, Market Creations Agency Senior Marketing Consultant.
“It’s about making positive impact in the present while setting the foundations for further success years from now, whether it’s assisting with stakeholder engagement or enhancing digital presence.”
In the Kimberley, a long-standing partnership with the Wunan Foundation has focused on sustained, integrated support across social media, newsletters, annual reports and digital platforms. Between 2024 and 2025, Wunan recorded a 109 per cent increase in social media followers, a 68 per cent rise in engagement and a 29 per cent increase in impressions. Website users grew 37 per cent in the six months following a new site launch, with a 41 per cent rise in enquiries and resource downloads.
“Their ability to translate our vision into digital experiences that reflect our story and impact has been invaluable.” Said Dan Gaffney, General Manager (Commercial) at the Wunan Foundation.

Integrated ICT: building the systems that keep organisations running
Reliable technology is foundational for any organisation, but for Aboriginal corporations operating across vast distances with limited local IT support, the stakes are higher. System downtime, cybersecurity risks and outdated infrastructure can directly affect service delivery. Integrated ICT provides technology services tailored to the specific needs and operating environments of regional organisations.
Integrated ICT partners with Aboriginal corporations as a long-term technology ally, providing support at each stage of growth.
“We focus on customised ICT solutions and modernisation, making sure technology keeps pace as Aboriginal organisations expand,” said Lachlan Gardiner, Integrated ICT Sales Manager.
“With rapid upgrades, changing technology trends and the growing impact of AI, it’s critical to plan for what’s next while strengthening cyber security to manage increasingly complex risks.”
The partnership with the Yamatji Southern Regional Corporation (YSRC) in Geraldton shows what this looks like in practice. Integrated ICT has worked with YSRC to upgrade individual workstations, deploy software, expand boardroom technology and connect their Head Office and Perth office through an integrated phone system, allowing direct calls through to the Heritage team.
“The support is always there when I need it. It’s reassuring knowing I can pick up the phone and get help quickly,” said James Brockman, Heritage Coordinator at YSRC.
“Integrated ICT has supported our growth through expanding technology solutions for staff, upgrading boardroom technology, and setting up the phone system between our offices to allow direct calls through to Heritage. These improvements have helped communication and collaboration across the organisation run more smoothly.”
A shared commitment to regional WA
In a shifting policy and funding landscape, Aboriginal organisations face increasing expectations around governance, accountability and service delivery. Clear communications and dependable technology are not extras, they are essential to how these organisations advocate for their communities, secure funding and deliver services.

For Market Creations Agency and Integrated ICT, these partnerships are built on long-term relationships, regional presence and a practical understanding of the environments in which Aboriginal corporations operate. Success is measured simply: whether these organisations are better supported to deliver the work that matters to their communities.
