Eva Skira has been appointed chairperson for the Water Corporation, water minister Bill Marmion announced today.
Current board member Ms Skira has had more than 17 years experience as a chair and board member at a number of Australian organisations, including as deputy chairman at St John of God Healthcare Group, deputy chancellor at Murdoch University, and director at RCR Tomlinson, MDA National Insurance and the Australian National Maritime Museum.
Executive director of National Lifestyle Villages Michael Hollet has been appointed to a two-year term on the Water Corporation board.
Mr Marmion thanked retiring chairperson Patrick O’Connor, member for nine years, for his contribution.
