WA employers are expecting a busy quarter ahead and many plan to take on staff, according to the latest Morgan & Banks Job Index.
More than 40 per cent of employers reported intentions to put on more staff while 12 per cent planned decreasing, giving a net effect of 28.9 per cent – a rise of 9.9 per cent over the previous quarter.
Morgan & Banks director Sean Winder said the information technology, sales, engineering, financial services, retail and construction industries were on the up.
