The multi-million dollar deal gives ComputerCorp the stability which will propel the business nationally, in turn ensuring the growth strategy is driven at all levels.
The company's managing director, since its inception in 1987, Hugh Smith, has announced his retirement.
The members of the current executive management team will remain with the companyand contribute to the growth and vision of this new public entity.
With a turnover expected to exceed the budget of $150 million planned for the financial year 2006 and over 290 staff operating from 10
offices in seven states, ComputerCORP is one of Australia's leading independent providers of IT Infrastructure, services and business
solutions, and will continue to deliver best of breed technology solutions to all our customers.

As CFO of ComputerCORP, I thought it prudent to advise you of
the current status with regard to the sale of the Company. Hugh
Smith, Managing Director since its inception in 1987, has decided
to retire. ComputerCORP has been sold to a group of investors
primarily based in Sydney, who collectively have many years
experience in the commercial business world and much
knowledge of the IT market in particular. The multi-million dollar
deal gives ComputerCORP the stability which will propel the
business nationally, in turn ensuring the growth strategy is driven
at all levels.
I can confirm that the new ownership structure supports the status
quo. The members of the current Executive Management Team
will stay and contribute to the growth and vision of this new public
entity.
