Visiomed Group Ltd (ASX: VSG) is pleased to announce it has signed an initial 2-Year Agreement with Spanish distributor ITE-FARM, S.L. to supply its innovative Funhaler® paediatric incentive spacer to the Spanish market. ITE-FARM, S.L. specialises in the distribution of paediatric health products through the pharmaceutical and "parafarmacia" channels in Spain.

The existing distribution agreements represent committed sales well in excess of $6 million over the next two years.
Dr William Dolphin, Visiomed CEO, said "We are very pleased to report that the company has achieved significant growth in revenues with strong sales in Australia and the added expansion into international markets. Domestic and early international sales in 2007 (calendar year) have exceeded $1.3 million and a maiden profit was recorded in the June quarter".
It should be noted that the winter months of May to July are the peak season for spacers in Australia. The Company anticipates increasing sales from overseas markets such as US and Europe, with the onset of the northern hemisphere winter.
The Company is focused on increasing penetration of its products in overseas markets. To enhance the presence in Europe and Asia the Company is continuing discussions with potential distributors in markets including Germany and Japan. Visiomed senior management are attending key national and international conferences in conjunction with our international distribution network to promote market acceptance of the Funhaler in these major markets.
The Company would like to advise and announce the appointment of Craig Parfitt as Sales & Marketing Manager replacing Mr Colin La Galia. Craig boasts an accomplished sales, marketing and business background from roles in successful and fast-paced multinational businesses. Craig has a degree qualified in Marketing and has a MBA from University of WA.
