Transfield Services' joint venture with Worley Parsons has secured a six year extension to operate and maintain Verve Energy's Collie Power Station.
The extension of the contract was part of a $92 million suite of new work across Australia and New Zealand announced today by Transfield.
In Melbourne, Transfield Services won an eight month extension with Melbourne Water for the ongoing provision of mechanical and electrical maintenance services to Melbourne's metropolitan water network.
And in New Zealand, Transfield Services won a five-year contract to supply facilities management services for renewable hydro and wind electricity provider Meridian Energy.
"The contract renewals with Verve Energy and Melbourne Water reflect our high quality of service and we will ensure this continues for these valued clients," Transfield Services managing director Peter Goode said.
"Meridian Energy is an important win which develops our relationship with New Zealand's largest renewable energy generator."
Last month, Transfield was awarded preferred tenderer status to provide maintenance services at Alcoa's Pinjarra alumina refinery, in a five-year deal worth $66 million.
Transfield also holds a six-year, $88 million contract with the Western Australian Department of Transport, signed last December, to deliver asset management and maritime infrastructure projects.
And in June last year Transfield won a three-year, $200 million maintenance deal with the WA Department of Housing.
At 1:44PM Transfield shares had lost 0.86 per cent, trading at $3.47.
