Trainer tackles Indonesian market

A WA small business training and advisory company is Indonesia bound.

Living With Business recently won a major AusAid training project to deliver enterprise education throughout Indonesia.

The project aims to teach Indonesians to run sustainable enterprises.

LWB directors Jan Tekely and Georgette Thomas are currently in Indonesia training participants with differing backgrounds and educational levels ranging from university lecturers to small and medium-sized business owners.

So far they have provided training to 200 people involved in a range of business, work, cooperative and community activities in the east Asian provinces.

Classes have been taught in Kupang, Mataram and Sumbawa. Future classes are to be delivered in Ambon and Flores.

There has been specific emphasis on agribusiness, horticulture, women in business, farming, rice manufacturing, tourism, exports and imports.

The company has developed alliances with several Indonesian universities and government officials for future training projects in Indonesia.
