Woodside Energy has awarded its Karratha waste management and industrial services contract to Nedlands-based Tox Free Solutions.

The three year contract, with two further one year options, covers the provision of waste management services to Woodside's LNG facility, Karratha Supply Base and Woodside's Karratha-based offshore production and exploration facilities.

Tox Free Solutions managing director, Steve Gostlow said his company is excited to work with Woodside and help improve the oil and gas giant's practices through sustainable waste management initiatives.

"Tox Free's newly established Pilbara Resource Recovery Centre, based in Karratha, combines the resources of Tow Free's waste management expertise with Barry Bros. industrial services," Mr Gostlow said in a statement.

Waste management and industrial services include liquid waste treatment, industrial and hazardous waste management, solid waste management and recycling, composting as well as industrial services including tank cleaning and vacuum loading.

Tox Free Solutions is one of the largest industrial services, waste and environemental management businesses in Australia.
