Sales for houses increased by a marginal 1 per cent, with unit sales up 19 per cent. However, sales for vacant land decreased by 21 per cent over the week.
Total properties listed for sale recorded a decrease of 3 per cent to 14,187 this week.
Listings for houses and vacant land both fell 3 per cent, while unit listings have decreased further, by 4 per cent.
The total number of listings recorded this week is 4 per cent lower than four weeks ago but is 2 per cent higher compared with the same time last year.
Turning to the rental market, Reiwa members reported total properties available for rent increased by a marginal 1 per cent over the week to 11,217. This is 6 per cent higher than levels seen four weeks ago and 33 per cent higher than the same time last year
