Sales activity experienced an expansion over the week, with Reiwa members reporting an increase in weekly sales to 596.
The overall 2 per cent rise in weekly sales is attributed to a 2 per cent increase in sales for houses and a 20 per cent increase in vacant land sales, despite an 8 per cent decrease in unit sales over the week.
Total properties listed for sale grew over the week to 13,453. Listings for houses increased by 3 per cent, with both unit and vacant land listings increasing by 1 per cent.
The total number of listings recorded this week is 3 per cent higher in comparison to four weeks ago but is 7 per cent lower than the same time last year.
Turning to the rental market, Reiwa members reported total properties available for rent declined over the week to 9,653. This is 3 per cent lower than levels four weeks ago and 12 per cent lower than the same time last year.
