Total WA Listings 13276. This is a good number around the 12000 that is WA's "balanced market" level. We have had swings from 6000(major rental/housing shortage during the GFC/Mining Boom) to 18000 listings oversupply level. Apartments not mentioned but these seem to be selling even with large increase in supply. Rentals available has risen to over 6000 showing an increase in rental supply and a weakening rental market. Tenants can now be picky - worth smartening up your rental property to make it more attractive to renters. Increase yield where possible - Granny Flats can be great additions to properties and simple way to turn them into higher yielding investments.
