Being a wordsmith by profession, The Note only begrudgingly concedes imagery may be a conveyance of meaningful thoughts and ideas.
The phrase involving a picture and its value in a certain multiple of words, is anathema to us.
However, occasionally, we’ll concede that some pictures offer an insight that, due mainly to the logic of the mind and simplicity of concept proposed, make them an appropriate projection for description.
Take, for example, the image above that we received this week. It was called ‘downsizing’ and was related to the impact of the resource super profits tax.
Unlike the RSPT, The Note need not have to explain this.

Regular readers of WA Business News will recall that Bannister Downs Dairy Company managing director Sue Daubney won our big 40under40 First Amongst Equals prize this year.
While the 40under40 win is all about the person, the brand is the one that ultimately has to earn the stripes on the consumer catwalk.
Having sampled some of the Bannister Downs wares, The Note’s judging panel of one would have definitely given the Northcliffe milk producer a gong for selection of flavoured drinks.
So it was not without some pleasure that we heard Bannister Downs’ recently won the coveted Givaudan award for the best flavoured milk in Australia for the second year in a row with its delicious Mango Smoothie.
The Note loves to see WA manufacturers taking on all comers.
