Broome
Yes, Barnett's Park, totally excludes the Dampier [peninsula] coast, the proposed location for the proposed largest LNG precinct in the world, which also happens to contain practically the entire fossil record of dinosaurs in the western half of the Australian continent. The track sites of the Dampier coast are rare and precious resources, with no parallel in other parts of Australia, or even in the world.. Some of the most important sites happen to be situated... where they face the greatest risk of damage or degradation if industrial development is allowed to proceed in the region of James Price Point. Not to mention the social deterioration of the Broome Community and outlining Aboriginal Communities. The WA government are very aware of these facts, so Why has the area not been included in the park. Whales birth, mate and play all the way up the western Australian coast.
