ST Georges Terrace has become petrol head haven this week.
The Sydney-based auction house Wemyss held its annual vintage and classic car auction at the Perth Concert Hall on Saturday.
Cars formerly owned by the late Lang Hancock and late Paul Terry went under the hammer along with 100 lots.
Meanwhile this week a collection of vintage Bentleys and modern Audi sports cars went on display in the foyer of the QV1 building. Combining the two marques in such a display sparked rumours that the Barbagallo organisation may be chasing the Bentley franchise.
Barbagallo marketing manager Greg Ross wasn’t keen to discuss the suggestion only saying: “It is certainly an interesting franchise with an irreplaceable pedigree and a cashed up vibrant parent.”
There is no doubt Bentley would certainly sit nicely atop Barbagallo’s British line up.
