THE Westralia Airports Corporation is providing $5 million to help develop WA’s economy.
WAC CEO Graham Muir said the $5 million was part of a promise the company made to the WA Government when it bid for the Perth International Airport management contract in 1997.
“WAC was keen to support the development of the aviation industry in the state which in turn benefits the community and industry,” Mr Muir said.
Transport Minister Murray Criddle said his department would be coordinating the program on behalf of the government.
