NATIONAL developer Stockland has scooped three accolades at the Property Council’s annual innovation and excellence awards.
Stockland’s 2 Victoria Ave was awarded WA property of the year by the Property Council last week, and as well as the top award, the building, which was Perth’s first 6-star green-star compliant project, was awarded the top accolade in the sustainable development category.
Property Council WA executive director Joe Lenzo said 2 Victoria Ave was a benchmark for future office developments that achieved new standards in sustainable office outcomes.
Stockland’s Settler’s Hills master planned community at Baldivis was also a category winner.
Also at the awards night, Karrinyup Shopping Centre was announced as the 2010 WA retail property of the year.
Other winners among the 60 finalists showcased at the event were Hawaiian, which was awarded the Rider Levett Bucknall Award for office development for its Bishop See South Tower; and Mirvac, which received two accolades for its mixed-use apartment development, The Point, in Mandurah.
