Steinepries appointed to Atom board

Ascent Capital co-founder David Steinepreis has been appointed non-executive chairman of Atom Energy.

Mr Steinepreis takes over from Tony McGill, effective immediately, the company said in a statement.

No reason was given for Mr McGill's departure.
