Social Justice campaigner joins Notre Dame

LAWYER, social justice campaigner and Jesuit priest Father Frank Brennan has joined the University of Notre Dame as a visiting professor.

He joins Notre Dame’s College of Law on a part-time basis from January and will lecture in human rights and ethics.

Fr Brennan has been involved with issues such as Aboriginal land rights and East Timor.

He recently launched a book Tampering with Asylum that offers a blueprint for countries wanting to humanely protect asylum seekers.
