Skywest Airlines will reinstate its Kalgoorlie to Melbourne services, after suspending it late last year due to deteriorating economic conditions and escalating fuel costs.
The service will start early next month and will initially be a weekend service, departing Kalgoorlie on Fridays and returning on Sundays.
The flight will be direct to Melbourne's Tullamarine airport.
"The unfortunate decision to suspend the service late last year was due to deteriorating economic conditions, including escalating fuel costs among other factors," Skywest chief executive Mark Shelton said.
