At 10:09AM (WST) Signature shares had gained 10 per cent, to trade at 3.2 cents.
Signature said in a statement to the ASX that reclamation of the Old Konongo Tails Dam had commenced, with ore being stockpiled initially and haulage planned to begin next week.
The company said local earthmoving contractors had been contracted to carry out mining and haulage and haul road maintenance.
Signature said it had also received environmental clearance from the Ghanaian Environmental Protection Agency to recommence mining and processing at Konongo.
The Old Konongo Tails Dam contains resource of around 61,150 ounces of gold in the indicated and inferred categories, Signature said.
