Shopping Centre Conference

The Property Council of Australia is hosting its annual Shopping Centre Conference, March 16 at the Joondalup Resort. The theme for this years’ conference is ‘Big Picture Issues – Bottom Line Impact’. Luke Saraceni, president of the Property Council’s WA division, will open the conference and introduce the following interstate and local industry specialists: Graham Terry, CEO of Centro Properties Group; l Michael Baker, director retail advisory of Urbis JHD; l Lorraine Beck, national marketing manager of Savills; l Milton Cockburn, executive director of Shopping Centre Council of Australia; l Marcus Solomon, chairman of Gaden Lawyers; l Jim Tsagalis, managing director of Lease Equity; l Stuart Best, retail design manager of Westfield Ltd; and l Joe Lenzo from Property Council of Australia. Attendees will be brought up-to-date with the latest trends in Australian retail property and consumer spending trends, as well as how to lease a difficult centre. The all day conference costs $300 for Property Council members and $400 for non members. This price includes breakfast, lunch and a networking cocktail reception.
