DJ Carmichael & Co says it has no intention at this stage to replace managing director Rod Beeton, who has departed the Perth-based stockbroking firm after seven years.
DJ director Ian Dorrington told WA Business News that reasons for Mr Beeton's departure will not be made public due to confidentiality agreements, but said the departure was "amicable".
He added that no replacement for Mr Beeton was currently lined up, with the firm currently looking at a marginal managerial restructure.
"There will be very, very minor changes, it will be business as usual. The day to day operations won't change at all," Mr Dorrington said.
The firm is currently considering whether to appoint another managing director, and if it decides to do so, the new appointee will likely come from within the company.
DJ Carmichael currently has 45 dealers - boosted by the acquisition of Perth stockbroker Hogan & Partners - the most the firm has ever had.
