Did someone forget to tell the Labor Party that the backlash against the arrogance of the Carpenter Government was as much a reaction against the arrogance of Eric Ripper as it was to the arrogance of Alan Carpenter? It looks like the ALP is planning to stay in opposition for a long time.

God help us all!
