Unionised train drivers working for Rio Tinto's Pilbara operations are planning another round of strike action next week.
According to online reports, the Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union has notified the company that some 30 drivers will carry out 12-hour work stoppages over two days starting on October 22.
It follows a 12-hour strike action taken last Saturday, the first industrial action for Rio in 16 years.
The CFMEU wants to replace individual work contracts with collective bargaining agreements similar to ones negotiated with BHP Billiton.
