Debt collection company Repcol Limited, which has recently emerged from a protracted restructuring and downsizing of its business, has won a new government contract in Western Australia.
Its wholly owned subsidiary, Repcol (WA) Pty Ltd, has been awarded a new contract with the Department of the Attorney General for Metropolitan and Country Execution of Fines Enforcement Warrants.
The contract is for a two year term with two options to extend the term by one year exercisable at the discretion of the Department of the Attorney General.
This new contract follows on from Repcol (WA) Pty Ltd's appointment to the Western Australian State Government Common Use Arrangement Panel for debt recovery services in December 2007 and its first major contract awarded under the panel with the Department of Housing and Works in April 2008.
The new contract with the Department of the Attorney General will underpin Repcol's agency debt collection business and is another significant milestone for Repcol following recent restructuring.
