West Perth-based minerals explorer Range Resources Ltd has announced plans to list on the London Stock Exchange's Alternative Investment Market towards the end of October, after lodging a Pre-Admission announcement today.

Range Resources Ltd (ASX Code: "RRS") ("Range") is pleased to advise that it has today lodged its "Pre-admission Announcement" for the proposed admission of Range ordinary shares to trading on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange. Allowing for the required 20-day notice period, it is anticipated that the AIM listing will take place towards the end of October 2007.
The proposed AIM listing is intended to offer existing international investors easier access to the Company's securities and improve the Company's flexibility and access to international investors for any future capital raisings that may be required to support its oil and gas and minerals exploration activities in Puntland.
RFC Corporate Finance Ltd has been appointed as Range's Nominated Adviser and respected London broker Fox-Davies Capital Ltd has been engaged as Range's AIM Broker.
Range's ordinary shares will continue to be listed on the ASX.
As part of this dual listing process, and pursuant to the AIM Rules, all of the Directors and their associates, as well as substantial shareholder Consort Private Ltd, have also agreed not to dispose of any of their securities in Range for one year from date of admission to AIM.
