Over 400 workers returned to work today on the city tunnel section of the troubled Perth to Mandurah railway, ending a twelve day strike.
The ABC reported workers met this morning on the Esplanade with contractor Leighton Kumagai and voted to return to work with both Leighton Kumagai and the CFMEU urging this result.
However, CFMEU state secretary Kevin Reynolds said workers were intimidated by Leighton Kumagai to go back to work.
Leighton Kumagai general manager Ray Sputore said he was relieved with the result of the meeting.
This follows twelve days of striking after CFMEU members took industrial action over the sacking of a worker, a shop steward believed to be instrumental in a previous decision for workers to go home.
