Mark Parry-Billings has been appointed research and development director of pSivida’s UK subsidiary pSiMedica.
Dr Parry-Billings joins pSiMedica from Innovata Biomed where he held the R&D director’s positon for the past six years.
His appointment is expected to allow pSivida’s chief scientific officer Professor Leigh Canham to devote more of his time to the strategic aspects of developing the company’s BioSilicon platform.
Along with Dr Parry-Billings, pSiMedica has added five more PhD scientists.
