At the close of trade, RCR's share price was up 9 cents to $2.04.
The contract is for the installation of a utilities package for the Yabulu Extension Project in Queensland.
RCR Tomlinson CEO John Linden told WA Business News the contract was negotiated with the client on a schedule of rates and would be performed over the next 28 weeks.
The company has now won in excess of $53m in contract value during the month of March. Earlier this month, RCR won $28.2 million in new work orders for its engineering and site maintenance divisions. The contracts included, site maintenance and construction contracts to the value of $22.5 million, and also some one-off orders for RCR's apron feeders and scrubbers products, worth around $5.7 million.
