RCR Tomlinson has been awarded more than $125 million in new contracts across its resources and infrastructure businesses.
RCR's mining equipment business has been awarded a design and construction contract to deliver its first in-pit iron ore sizing plant for Rio Tinto's MESA J mining operations, 200 kilometres south-west of Karratha.
The plant will have a minimum production capacity of 12 million tonnes per annum and is expected to be completed by March 2015.
RCR has also been awarded structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation works valued at $70 million at Glencore's Ernest Henry mine project in north-west Queensland, and at Newcrest Mining's Cadia Valley operations in New South Wales.
"These contracts, coupled with the addition of our new infrastructure business, will contribute significantly to our FY14 revenues and ensure another consecutive year of growth for RCR," managing director Paul Dalgleish said.
Mr Dalgleish last week acquired a further $4.4 million worth of shares in the engineering firm at zero net cost, bringing his stake in RCR to 5.3 million shares.
RCR shares were slightly lower at $3.47 at the close today.
