Diversified engineering company RCR Tomlinson Ltd continues to secure significant contracts accross Australia, with the company confirming it has secured more than $50 million in new orders.
These new contracts are predominantly in its electrical, construction and maintenance and engineering business units, and include: $24 million electrical construction contract at Prominent Hill in South Australia; $12 million power station maintenance shutdown at Munmorah in New South Wales; $3 million fabrication order for Eagle engineering workshop in Gladstone Queensland; $10 million in new orders through the engineering business unit; and $3 million in two laser cutting orders through the Brisbane facility.
The latter concerns one of the largest orders RCR has received in its laser business, a business historically characterised by many small orders from a large and diverse number of customers.
RCR said it had strong levels of work in hand with a record order book and its outlook remained positive, with strong tendering across all divisions.
