Positive spin

NEGATIVE gearing used to be part and parcel of owning an investment property. A new book, How to Maximise Your Property Portfolio, by Margaret Lomas dispels this theory and says property portfolios can easily be cash flow positive.

“While the debate rages on about when and where you should invest, and with what aim (cash flow or capital gain), you may well be wasting your time if you are sitting back waiting to see who was right,” Ms Lomas said.

It is the third book by Ms Lomas. Her previous books were How to make your money last as long as you do and How to Create an Income for Life.
