Plans made easy

A software system has been developed by Australian company MAUS Business Systems which claims to cut time spent preparing business and marketing plans by up to 90 per cent.

According to MAUS Business Systems, statistics show businesses with working business and marketing plans achieve 63 per cent higher revenue growth and 58 per cent higher profit growth.

The software, MasterPlan for Windows, operates by using a simple question and answer format. Ready-made spreadsheets are provided into which users simply insert figures. Reports generated include budgets, sales forecasts, break-even analysis and more.

According to MAUS, while the average nominal industry growth rate was 4.5 per cent, a sample of MasterPlan users achieved an annual growth rate of 22.85 per cent.
