Pharmacy opens 24 hours

THE first 24 hour pharmacy in WA has opened its doors. The Beaufort Street Pharmacy in Mount Lawley will offer 24 hour public access to the full range of pharmaceuticals. Pharmacy proprietor Dean Schulze said it could dispense prescriptions at any time.

In 1997 the pharmacy was the first in WA to move its closing time to midnight.

“Now we are the first to ‘take the hands off the clock’,” Mr Schulze said.
