In the past decade established Perth house prices have risen 30 per cent compared to a national average increase of almost 50 per cent during the 1990s.
In terms of project home prices Perth also has experienced the lowest price increase. Project homes increased in price by just 15 per cent during the decade compared with the national average of a 23 per cent increase.
After strong growth of 8 per cent in project house prices during the September and December quarter last year, prices have fallen back by 0.5 per cent this year.
