A PERTH cleaner has broken into the property and integrated services market in Thailand.
Arrix Services has joined with Bangkok-based Siam Property and Construction to build on Siam’s existing property networks in Thailand.
The joint venture company already has major Bangkok contracts ranging from the Petroleum Authority of Thailand PTT to the Department of Transport.
Siam-Arrix’s 200 staff are currently employed in areas as diverse as cleaners and messengers through to tour guides.
Siam-Arrix managing director Watcharaphon Boonlai said while there were opportunities in traditional property service areas, the company had positioned itself to take advantage of new markets with Thai government outsourcing firmly in mind.
Arrix Services general manager Mark Berry said the hardest part of setting up the joint venture had been blending two cultures into one company.
“Market research shows us the joint venture model we have developed has strong market appeal in both the public and private market segments,” Mr Berry said.
