The flagship venue of West Perth-based microbrewer Oz Brewing Ltd, Mad Monk Fremantle, has commenced trading, the company has announced.
The opening of the café-brewery, situated on the former Miss Maud's site on Fremantle's South Terrace, had been slightly delayed following an increase in development costs, necessitating an additional $1 million capital raising to fund the third stage of development costs.
The company announced plans earlier in the year to build a second brewery in Dunsborough.
